About Me
Hi there, I’m Raihan! An undergraduate Computer Science student at Universitas Ary Ginanjar, and will be joining Virginia Tech Department of Computer Science as a PhD student starting Fall 2026.
I’m currently conducting research as a (remote) research intern for Virginia Tech Security and Intelligence Laboratory under advisement of Dr. Peng Gao, working on ML-assisted threat intelligence analysis.
I also conduct research for AIRDU Research Group of Department of Computer Science, Universitas Ary Ginanjar.

- Service 10 Feb, 2026: Raihan has been accepted as a Student Volunteer for EACL 2026 (The 19th Conference of the European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics) and will serve on-site in Rabat, Morocco.
- Award 4 Feb, 2026: Raihan has been awarded financial support from the Virginia Tech Computer Science Department and will serve as a full-time Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant during his doctoral studies.
- News Feb 3, 2026: Raihan has been admitted to Direct PhD program at Virginia Tech Department of Computer Science! Starting Fall 2026.
- Research Jan 4, 2026: Our research, NL2Logic, has been accepted to the Findings of EACL ‘26! It will be presented at the 19th EACL conference this March in Rabat, Morocco.
- News Dec 13, 2025: I’ll be replace teaching for Session #16, KKBD401 Data Mining Course.
- News Nov 7, 2025: Raihan will start filling lecture roles for freshmen members, in addition to his research project work
- News Oct 5, 2025: Started a Teaching Assistant position for KKAI300 – Artificial Intelligence for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Research May 21, 2025: Started conduct research for VT Security Intelligence Laboratory.
- Research May 13, 2025: Started conduct research for ESQ Group Corporation, as their ML Researcher, working on LLM.

- Research Jan 3, 2025: We proposed DepPredict, a model to predict and identifies the likelihood of depression for students.
- Award Dec 2, 2024: Raihan received Garuda ACE 2.0 Research Fellowship Award by MoECRT of Indonesia.
